Programming Services:
PRO-IV is a highly efficient 4th generation language that offers unparalleled scalability
and ease of use. Software developed in PRO-IV can operate on more than twenty operating
systems and a wide range of hardware platforms.
Data Systems has been specializing in the PRO-IV development language since 1984.
We offer comprehensive software and database engineering and programming services. We
also offer programmer training on-site or at our location. Data Systems also offers Web
engineering and development services as well as system analysis and design in a variety of
languages including Haskell, Skala.
Support:
We recognize the importance of maintaining the integrity of your software and solving
operational issues when they occur. Data Systems prides itself on reliable, personal,
technical support and problem resolution.
Most support issues are resolved with a single telephone call or e-mail.
Our software maintenance agreements, which provide unlimited telephone and direct
connection support, are available during normal business hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm eastern time.
Maintenance subscribers are also entitled to receive software enhancements, as they are released.

Butternut Mountain Farm is one of the largest consumers and producers of Maple Syrup. We have helped them develop extensive controls for traceability of finished goods to the original barrel and sugar maker, which we have modified for small food system businesses, like Champlain Orchards, a 100 year old family owned and operated farm and one of the largest 'apple aggregator' and value added producer in the state of Vermont. We have helped them develop a customized Inventory Management module specifically designed for Food Safety and Lot Control for Orchards.
Shalom International is a national importer and wholesaler of novelty gifts and accessories with warehouse locations in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and California. Their specific needs include dynamic shipment control and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for national chains. With annual sales topping $36 million, Shalom International has been a Data System's customer since 1999.
With twelve locations across the United States, True World Foods required a distribution system to handle the unique needs of a fish wholesaler. A touch-screen order entry system that displays historical sales data and suggested quantities was developed to speed the ordering process for restaurants. With more than $250 million in annual sales, True World Foods relied on Data Systems to provide total administrative control.
